MRI-MRI display modes

Display modes useful for viewing 1 or more sets of MRI data (or other modalities) are collected together in the MRI-MRI tool which is activated from the main menu:

mri-mri

This activates the MRI display tool allowing access to many different combined display modes:

mritool

One Image Displays.

These modes are for displaying the reference image data only.
Simple 'one image one slice' displays a single transaxial slice (use keys [e.g. page UP/Down] to move slice or zoom in or out [insert/delete]):

oneslice

Orhtogonal slices + small views of multiple axial slices every 3mm:

oneimortho

Multiple transaxial slices with 1.5mm spacing:

oneimmulti

TWO Image Displays.

This provides displays for basic dual MRI registration (Reference Image abd Floating Image A), overlay, ROI measurement and subtraction.

THREE Image Displays

Allows adjacent display of three volume datasets (Reference, A and B):

threeim

and fused overlay of two datasets on the reference

FOUR Image Displays

Simple displays of four axial slices (Reference Image, Floating Image A,B and C).

fourslice

Overlay of A,B and C onto Reference Image.
ISO intensity contours of A,B and C on the Reference Image.

Multiple Image Displays

These functions allow the inspection and registration of multiple MRI volume data sets simultaneously.

The X10 Axial+Sag view provides a basic display of 10 volumes with axial and sagittal slices for each volume:

5x5

Multi-Subtract

The multi-subtract mode provides orthogonal slices as above but also multiple views through the subtraction of the two data sets (note this subtraction image is calculated 'on the fly' using only basic tri-linear interpolation so it may not be optimal: but gives a basic idea about where the main intensity differences are):

As with other rview displays, the view angle may be interactively modified (using the slice view tool) eg to produce:
