Using Active Intensity
Range to Select Tissues for Tracing
Using the draw and fill mode of the segtool:
1. Reset
the Active Intensity Range
2. Select
the Draw and Fill Mode
3.
Manually draw a small region which includes examples of tissues of
interest
a) In the required plane hold the
RIGHT mouse button down and
drag cursor over the image: This leaves a yellow line trace:
b) Release the mouse button to
connect the start point to the finish point and fill the region with
the current label value.
4: Use this
region to set the Active Intensity Range
5: Using
the Draw and Fill Mode again
6: Roughly
trace the region of interest:
Release the mouse button to select all pixels within the Active
Intensity Range:
