Shifting one
Slice
(or Voxel) within the Reference Image Data:
Note: all these steps are w.r.t. to the
original
data slicing orientation
(i.e. 'one slice up' moves forwards inthe
patient
a coronal acquisition, but upwards in the patient in a
transaxialacquisition)
- PAGE UP steps one slice
'upwards'
inthe data.
- PAGE DOWN steps one slice
'down'
inthe data.
- CURSOR LEFT steps one
pixel/voxel
leftin the data (left in patient for transaxial data).
- CURSOR RIGHT steps one
pixel/voxel
right in the data (right in patient for transaxial data).
- CURSOR UP steps one
pixel/voxel
forward.
- CURSOR DOWN steps one
pixel/voxel
backwards.
- HOME returns the display
origin
tothe middle of the reference image volume.

Shifting mm steps
within
the data
To quickly skip up or down a given mm
step
in the image volume press the keys:
- 'S' to go up 9mm
- 's' to go up 6mm
- 'A' to go up 3mm
- 'a' to go up 1.5mm
- 'X' to go down 9mm
- 'x' to go down 6mm
- 'Z' to go down 3mm
- 'z' to go down 1.5mm
- 'Q' to go right (IN THE PATIENT) by
3mm
- 'q' to go right (IN THE PATIENT) by
1.5mm
- 'W' to go left (IN THE PATIENT) by
3mm
- 'w' to go left (IN THE PATIENT) by
1.5mm
- 'K' to go forwards by 3mm
- 'k' to go forwards by 1.5mm
- 'M' to go backwards by 3mm
- 'm' to go backwards by 1.5mm
Notes:
This will always move along the axis
ofthe
patient as long as the slicing orientation of the data was read
correctly
from the data files (i.e.. the transaxial slice appears in the
correctrview
window). The direction is respect the
current orientation of the displayed
slices.
The actual step is always 3mm or
1.5mm:it
does not depend on the slice thickness of the reference image data. The
nearest
slice is approximated using the current interpolation
mode (best to use tri-linear).
Modifying the
Registration
Transformation:
To interactively shift the registration
estimate
for image A up and down (This is for images where say one image has a
large
axial extent and the starting registration estimate needs to be set
manually),
use the keys:
- 'G' to shift up 9mm
- 'g' to shift up by 6mm
- 'V' to shift down 9mm
- 'v' to shift down by 6mm
